ARTHUR LOK JACK
Chairman



A Guardian Holdings Director since March 1997, Arthur Lok Jack became Chairman in 2004. As one of the Caribbean region’s most dynamic and successful entrepreneurs, Arthur Lok Jack has grown his own business, Associated Brands Industries Limited, into a major enterprise regionally. Mr Lok Jack is Chairman of BWIA and the recipient of the Chaconia Gold Medal in August 2004, he has also been awarded the titles of Master Entrepreneur (Ernst & Young), Caribbean Luminary (UWI), and was bestowed a Doctor of Laws Degree (Hon) by the University of the West Indies, in recognition of his influence on Caribbean economic well being. In further recognition, in 2005 The University of the West Indies, Institute of Business was renamed The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.



RICHARD ESPINET



Richard heads Guardian General … from Jamaica to Guyana, Belize to Trinidad and Tobago... Richard focuses on Guardian General’s core business, giving strategic direction to our local, regional and international operations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, and spent the first 11 years of his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers. This was followed by 16 years working with one of Trinidad and Tobago’s major general insurance providers. For nine of those years, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer and managed relationships with industry partners in Europe and the USA. Richard is an alumnus of St. Mary’s College, (CIC), and studied accounting in the UK for six years.



H. PETER GANTEAUME



Mr. Ganteaume joined the Guardian Group as Chief Executive Officer in July 1, 1999. In addition to serving as an Executive Director for the GHL Group's several subsidiaries and associate companies, he sits on the boards of RBTT Financial Holdings and its banks in Jamaica, Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles. Mr. Ganteaume is a former Executive Chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers and has had a distinguished career in finance, accounting and audit. In addition to serving as CEO for Guardian Holdings and its several subsidiaries, he also sits on the boards of Caribbean Packaging Industries and Laqtel.



SELBY WILSON



Mr. Wilson joined Guardian Holdings Limited as a Director in March 1997. He is a former Minister of Finance in the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. Mr. Wilson is a Fellow of the Certified Chartered Association of Accountants. He now practices as a Telecommunications Policy Consultant and currently works in an advisory capacity with the Caribbean Telecommunications Union. He has lectured at the tertiary level in Management Accounting and Financial Management.



IMTIAZ AHAMAD



Mr. Imtiaz Ahamad joined the Guardian Holdings board in 2004. The CEO of Southern Sales and Service Company Limited also sits on the Boards of Automobile Sales Limited, Consolidated Insurance Consultants and Consolidated Insurance Holdings. He is Chairman of the Board of the South-West Regional Health Authority in Trinidad & Tobago.



ANTONY LANCASTER



Mr. Antony Lancaster brings to the Board more than forty years experience in the general insurance field both in the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. Prior to his retirement he served as Senior Vice President of the CIGNA General Insurance Operations in the UK and Ireland general insurance operations. He joined the Guardian Holdings Board in 2003.



NICHOLAS LOK JACK



Holds a BA Business Administration, double majoring in Finance and Marketing, as well as an MBA specializing in Corporate Financing from the University of Miami . Nicholas Lok Jack is a director of Laevulose Ltd. Guardian Life and Guardian Asset Management, and is also a member of the Investment Banking Club. He currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager, Charles Candy Division.
