Instructions

1. Turn off all electricity using your breaker box (main power switch).

2. Do not drive or walk through a flooded area. Water depth can be greatly underestimated by the human eye.

3. Keep a cell phone, dry clothing, a flashlight, clean water, non-perishable food and a portable radio with you at all times.

4. Depending on the rising water level inside your home - move to the second floor, attic, or roof.

5. Use your cell phone to contact for help and advice of your location. Remain at that location until help arrives.

6. *After the flood* Have your utility system inspected by an electrician before turning power on. Boil water before consuming, until informed by local authorities the water supply is safe.
