The Guardian General Road Safety Train made its final stop on Wednesday July 1st at the Arima Boys
In 2005, external consultants working the Group identified a Customer Centricity initiative as one of the strategies for Guardian General to explore. This consultation, quickly gave rise to our customer-focused journey, and in July 2005, a plan scoping the project was completed and approved, giving birth to Project Red Carpet.
In November of the same year, the project was launched to all employees to explain what it will take to transform the organization to one that was customer-focused and ultimately, to create a culture around Red Carpet Service (Trademark), a brand that has been woven into the fabric of our being, becoming a way of life, where service is concerned.
Over the years we focused our efforts on customer strategy, customer experience and customer culture, and we made it ours. At Guardian General, we can confidently say, our service brand is Red Carpet Service (Trademark), a brand that we all worked diligently towards and a brand that we live!
Going forward, 2009 to 2011, we will take this service brand to our entire Caribbean operations as we develop our One Caribbean strategy. In addition, we intend on sharpening our customer convenience focus.
Over the years you have answered the call to excellence, and we are counting on you to build and sustain this creation.

Guardian General recently hosted its Overseas Agents’ Conference from the 9th to 10th July2009. The regional agents were treated to seminars at our new Training Room at Newtown Centre.
They also thoroughly enjoyed lunch which was served on the Rooftop of our new building. And were subsequently invited to our Cocktail Function on the Friday evening, a forum which was used to introduce Guardian General’s New Offices.
AM Best, the international rating agency, has announced their latest ratings for Guardian Life of the Caribbean and Guardian General. Both of these companies were rated ‘Excellent’, and given an ‘A-’ rating.
